You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) Sulci'ani (Sulci for short) let out a Hiccup, She was surprised at the elders words, How could she be awaiting her and how could she have known Sulci at that. Sulci was hesitating whether she would take this elder up on her offer , or would if she would keep her guard up and move long. It had been a while since she had stopped and really spoken to another, so she took the elder up on her offer, letting the rest of her hood fall down. Sulci stared for a moment, unsure of how to tell her " story " so she took a deep breath and said "Well , I'm not sure of where to begin" She let off a soft smile as she began to speak.
Sulci was unlike many of her kin who preferred the serene life within the forest boundaries. From a young age, she was captivated by the stories of faraway lands, powerful wizards and magical creatures, and she dreamed of one day mastering the arcane arts herself. Often spending her nights under the stars, dreaming of the world beyond the forest.
Sulci's family were locally known for their deep wisdom and connection to the nature. They were healers and guardians of the forest(just a running joke), possessing an intimate knowledge of every plant and creature. While Sulci respected her heritage, her heart beat with the desire for adventure and knowledge.
One day, while exploring a hidden grove, Sulci stumbled upon an ancient forgotten library hidden deep within the forest. The library was filled with ancient tomes and scrolls, each brimming with magical knowledge. Determined to learn, Sulci spent countless hours poring over the texts, but aware of this wasn't enough and true mastery of magic could not be achieved in isolation. She searched around the library in hopes of more answers.One day while looking around the library ,She came across a map. With a sense of destiny, Sulci knew it was time to embark on her journey. She packed her belongings, including a magical amulet given to her by her grandmother, which was said to protect the wearer from harm.
She yearned to explore the world, to learn from other magical beings, and to uncover the secrets of the universe. With her heart full of determination and her mind brimming with knowledge, Sulci set out on a grand adventure, leaving the safety of Her family behind. She was ready to face any challenge, meet new allies, and discover the true extent of her potential.
As she began to finish off , she looked around the old tent once more before asking . "Do you happen to have any food you could spare ?" She laughed nervously, placing her hand on her stomach as it made a grumbling sound. "I think I'll starve to death at this rate for as long as I've been walking"
