You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) The man would step loft up a brow at the hag, a frown as he sat down upon the cushion "There, in the forest, where I was born, lives a tale about a stone. The greatest stone in the world, The Eternal Prism." He cleared his throat before continuing "My father, Hordrak, died in a mining accident trying to search for this stone. I vowed to avenge him. I packed all my supplies as well as my life savings, and went to find the stone, and maybe my father if he's alive. So, for the past three years, I have been traveling the whole region looking for leads, through rolling hills, scorching deserts, and snowy tundras. I arrived at a random hut in the woods, where I conversed with a fortune teller. Finally, the fortune teller foretold to me that the stone could very well be below this here village! As soon as I heard the news I set out. I traversed the swamp through crocodile infested water, and narrowly avoided death at the hands of bandits." Jarnas chuckled as he tapped the sword on his side "I first arrived at the mine, and then the tavern, but none could help me. I am here to find the stone, avenge my father, and hopefully bring my family great wealth for generations to come. And I think you can help me, have you heard anything about such a stone?" He would ask, curiousity now overtaking him as he planned for his adventures that would be ahead of him.
