Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) As he settles back into the cushion, Hakon lets out a deep sigh and leans forward a little to look around, as if searching for the right words. “My name is Hakon,” he says, his voice calm but with a hint of humility. “I’m not very interesting.” He stops after a beat, considers what he’s just said, and adds to it. “I’m very contemplative, and I’m very shy — not a great combo for being able to connect with someone. For years I lived in a city that felt like it was full of people who knew what they wanted while I was just lost. Weary of living under other people’s expectations, I began to ask myself: ‘What is my place in the world?’ ” He pauses, giving a slight laugh, as if the memory were distant. “I wanted something more. I felt like life could be different, more intense, more… mine. I kept it to myself for so long, I thought no one would understand. But then the curiosity and desire for something bigger started to grow in me, and then I knew. I had to do something, get out of there. I still don’t know what I was looking for, but I knew I had to go.” He looks into an empty place for a moment, as if sensing what is there to come to him. “I had no idea what was waiting for me, but something deep in me said it was time for a change. I needed to explore the world, get away from what held me back, and somehow discover for myself what life had to offer.”

As he settled onto the cushion the old witch had gestured to, he looked up at her, his gaze reflecting a mix of weariness and resolve. "I’ve come from a distant land," he began in a low voice. "My village was attacked, and we could not hold out against the invaders. I fought as hard as I could, but ultimately, I had no choice but to flee." He took a moment to steady his voice. "I’ve been wandering ever since, searching for a place to call home." He met the witch’s eyes with a hint of hope. "I’ve heard of your wisdom and came here seeking guidance. I’m just passing through this bleak town and wish to avoid any trouble. I hope to find my path and my place in this world
