You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Gendri greets the hag and tells her, ''I always have got along well with my family, I will always hold them close to me. Me and my brother used to play in the apple orchards near our farm all day, we would be entertained for hours with nothing but grass and sticks, though i will cherish those memories forever and know I will return to them some day soon, I am excited for what lies ahead in my adventure away from home.'' Gendri never really travelled far from home before this adventure, usually only going to nearby villages and towns at most. He grew up in a small village with his family not far from the local city and this new town's scenery reminds him of it. Gendri and his brother would often play in the apple orchard beside his house for hours getting lost in the trees and tall grass. Before meeting the hag, Gendri arrived at a small city, Gendri meets eyes with a woman selling bread who welcomes him with a smile, a nice first gesture upon arrival at the city he would be staying at for the time being. Gendri walks over to woman and says aloud, ''I wander what lies ahead in this new place I will call home.'' At taking a second look at his face the woman says wanderingly, ''Ah, I thought I recognised you, you must be the lost dwarf.'' Gendri takes a step back with a smile and responds, ''I am a dwarf, and although the journey here was difficult at times, I assure you, I am not lost''
