You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) Guibert stood in the doorway with a confused look on his face, shifting his weight as he looked around the tent. Stepping deeper into the hags dwelling, he questioned the events that led him to this moment. "Uh, I'm not sure why you would be expecting someone like me around these parts, however, I've been trying to find my friend, I believe he would have come through here recently, have you seen him?" The old hag said nothing, but her expression beckoned Guibert to continue talking. The jester was well out of his element, used to city life, his journey had taken him far from ideal scenery. "Well, I suppose a little break wouldn't hurt." Guibert took a seat on the cushion and continued his talking, "I am sure you've heard better, cause my story is pretty simple, but I am a traveling jester by trade, Me and my friends travel the countryside, kingdom to kingdom, in hopes of finding a place to perform," he paused for a moment to clear his throat, "However, finding work has been a little rough lately, one particular performance has kind of ruined my reputation, so I must travel further than usual to find jobs now." He stopped speaking, expecting the woman to have something to say, instead she just stared at him. An uncomfortable silence filled the air. Uneased by this, Guibert continued "And now I'm lost, such are the consequences of being a traveling jester I am afraid."
