CLAN OF RUSTFANG
CLAN OF RUSTFANG IS A NEW TRIBE: forged in the fires of war and survival. Their culture wishes to revolve around scavenging the remnants of past conflicts, crafting weapons and armor from the scraps of the old wars and nations, and fighting for the resources they need to survive. They wish to be feared for their brutality, revered for their craftsmanship, and respected for their strength in battle. They live for the Iron Spirit, fight for survival, and are willing to do whatever it takes to ensure the continuation of their brutal way of life. Their story is meant to show resilience, strength, and the unyielding will to survive in a world where only the strongest endure.
The clan hails from the most south point of the deserts using the harsh climates and strong sand storms to hide their main camps from rival clans formed under the rule of Rex Torosh'Mak the clans loyalty hopes to be often unyielding to their Rex and often criticizing those not loyal and was formed to help the horde to get capable and skilled orcs for the horde even though they were never asked to and recruiting orcs into the horde often taking in those with no clans or are unsure of what clan they wish to join or have been separated from their clan and or no longer remember where they hail from the orcs in the clans come from many back grounds some shamans some blacksmiths some strong warriors some crafters making armor or tools for the clan and rarer be alchemists
The Rustfang clan often takes a unique approach to armor and weaponry. Their armor is a crude but deadly mixture of scavenged materials, crafted to offer protection while showing off the orcโs craftsmanship. The armor is rarely uniform or aesthetically pleasing, but it is always functional. They use anything they can findโscraps of metal, bone, leather, and even the hides of beasts they've hunted. Each piece of armor has a history, and many Rustfangs adorn their gear with remnants from past enemies: the helmet of a defeated foe, the claws of a slain beast, or even the bones of other orcs. Some even adorn their weapons with jagged bone fragments and sharpened teeth as a further display of their brutal nature. Their weaponry follows a similar ethos. Many of the Rustfangsโ weapons are re-forged from discarded, broken weapons or the remains of war machines, transforming them into deadly instruments of war. War axes, jagged swords, spiked clubs, and spearsโeach of these is crafted with both function and lethality in mind. The weapons are often covered in rust or bloodstains, each marking a story of combat and conquest. The most skilled warriors and artisans forge custom-made weapons, often incorporating elements of magic or alchemy to further augment their strength. Each weapon is an extension of the warrior it is wielded by, and as much a symbol of the warrior's prowess as it is a tool of destruction.
Those who wish to join this clan are often given a task or mission to complete. A distinctive feature of every Rustfang orc is their fangs. Unlike other tribes, the Rustfangs file their tusks down into jagged, sharp points that resemble rusted metal. These sharp, almost serrated teeth serve not only as a sign of toughness but also as a direct connection to the land they roamโonce full of mighty weapons and steel, now covered in the decay of time. These fangs are worn with pride and serve as a reminder of the clan's resilience. Additionally, most Rustfang orcs carry scars from past battlesโetched across their faces, shoulders, and limbs. These are not just physical wounds but symbolic marks of survival, honor, and victory. Each scar represents a story of a battle fought and won, and each one is celebrated through tattoos, marking the individualโs connection to history and their fierce warrior spirit, and often seen is a unique mark on a rustfang's forearm shaped like a jagged axe.
