Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?”, she begins, then pauses to study your face— “Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

“I will tell you my story if you tell me your story,” A'den says. The woman agrees to the offer. “I am an Adûnian, and I was born in Númenost. I do not know whether my parents are still alive because they disappeared shortly after I was born. Adûnian culture is a culture where strength and honour are the best virtues a man can have. I always wanted to fight, so I did my second trial in swordsmanship. I love the feeling of a fight, the thrill, the exhilaration. Now, I am now a bounty hunter - don't worry, you are not my target - and I seek contracts across Aevos. I have met many, from noble to outlaw. I have a reputation for always completing the job. My only wish is to find my parents. So that's me in a nutshell. What about you?", he asks the witch. “Me?”, the foul woman cackles. “I only invited you in so I can use you for my sorcery.” A'den blanches even further - a hard feat for an Adûnian who is already very pale - and his Adam's apple bobs. “I don't think I'd like that very much. Thanks for offering, though.” He says, backing towards the door. The hag stands up, but A'den is already gone - running as fast as he can and as far as he can AWAY from the village.
