He is a lover of the forge, a sentiment passed down by his father Hurin I. who taught him all he knows in the wilds of the world. He desires to craft great weapons and tools one day and wishes to benefit the lands with his gifts.
Scenario:
While walking on the road, eager to deliver his freshly-made goods, Hurin spots a peculiar item on the ground. "What's this?" he says. Hurin picks up the item from the road and inspects the odd item. It is a purple glowing stone that shines bright, Hurin can barely believe his eyes! "This'll make a grand item to sell" he says as he stuffs it into his bags, now with a great grin on his face.
At a small village in the south, Hurin speaks to a wizard who seems very interested in his books. "Hello sir! By chance would you be lookin' to buy some special materials?" he says. The wizard looks at him with intrigue. "What kind of items?" He says with a scruffy voice. Hurin pulls out the odd purple stone he saw earlier. Before Hurin can say anything the wizard alarmingly swoops in and snatches it. "DO YOU KNOW WHAT THIS IS DWARF!?!" Shouts the wizard. "N-No?" says Hurin nervously. The wizard takes the stone and grabs Hurin's hand, dragging him with him in great haste. "We've gotta hurry before it's powers spread to your entire body!"
