Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
Example: "Why am I here you ask? I am not entirely sure." He looks around the room studying it as he tries to remember everything. "I was with a bunch of people... My.. Friends I think. We where traveling and we kept meeting new people on every adventure. We had fun around every turn. I got to build homes and shelters for those that needed it." He pauses remembering what happened to his friend. "A war broke out. I stood among the front lines with my friends... it all went down hill we won the fight but at what cost. I couldn't save them. I lost so many men that day and for what? To win some war. The nation ended up thriving but I was dissatisfied with how I handled things." He pauses with tears in his eyes. "I could have saved them all I should have been stronger and kept those people safe. Next time there won't be a war I will keep my people safe. I arrived here hoping to start a new I left my nation with everything they needed and maybe one day I can unite all my nations together and become allies with new ones. Maybe I will be the warrior that defends a nation making sure it's people don't have unnecessary loss." He paused and looked at her with his eyes glowing. "Let me defend this land!" He looks at her awaiting a response as he had told her his ambitions and desires.
