Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Rolland gives a polite smirk and softly sits beside the hag. "My name is Rolland Grasse" he scratches his cheek, "I was never a man who had the finer things, I was born during a drought, raised in a famine. I spent most of my life on my father's farm, he was harsh but fair and my mother taught me to read and write and speak as well as any noble lad" Rolland's brown eyes turned to dark spheres "it started as a cough, first the miller, then the priest, and then my mother...she wanted me to have everything and yet I was left with nothing. I left right after she passed and now I roam these wilds in search of wealth and glory and I don't care who I have to work for or who I have to lie and cheat, I will have everything my mother wanted fore me and more"(NOTE: Went through the villany rules and I think my character should be in line with that but if not I am more than willing to adapt Rolland)
