Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

I reach the dilapidated cabin and meet face to face with the old witch. As our gazes meet I pull down my hood and flash a peaceful smile and shining eyes. "I was born of the forest, raised with the knowledge of foxes, the instincts of the wolves, and the songs of birds. The trees were my home for many years and I am grateful for everything its given me," As I speak i sigh longingly and take a seat across from the hag. "But my forest is no longer the safe haven it once was. Overrun by unnatural beasts," I frown the unpleasantness, "the cycle of nature has been disrupted. Ive come searching for resolution," I rise from my seat, the wooden chair squealing against the floor. "I lift my hood back over my head and stare intently into her sunken eyes. "Even if that resolution must come from my own hands."
