Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
She has traveled a long way to talk with you. She was told of a prophecy which led her here to this town and she needed to know who sent her and someone pointed her to you. They said you know of many things and is very wise.
"Ah, well then, I have not much a story to tell," the hag said.
"You were sent here to restore the dwarves. I was alerted that you needed to be the one to save the dwarves and got ready. I unfortunately do not know much more than that."
"Wow, so helpful," she said.
"Off you go."
