Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
Bogif smiles and says in a not so soothing voice "Stories cost extra." Before any protest, and ignoring any if there were, it continues "I have the carrots you wanted and that'll be two more of whatever you're paying me. Although I can trim the price in exchange for future assistance with your..." He looks up "suspenseful abilities." The smile turns into a grin stretching from his right cheek to the scar reaching for his left eye. It slowly loses the smile after some blabbering from the hag or maybe the rustle of cloth in the tent. "My apologies if that was forward or rude my name is Bogif Poglum and I work for you or the supplier. Depends on your definition of employer." He quickly brings back the smile an recovers "Anyway if you need my services write me an owl or spell or whatever you use." He leaves the carrots, takes the payment, lays some fugly charm and leaves the tent looking for his next job.
