Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
Miyabi's eyes would wonder the room, her eyes not stopping to look at anything in particular as she silently assessed the building. Upon her attention being grabbed, her eyes would look over to the woman. Her face unchanging, expressionless as she made her way over to the chair set out for her. Pulling the chair out and setting down, her brown eyes look into that of the woman's as she responds
"My story? There isn't a lot to tell. I simply travel and do odd jobs."
-------------------------
Miyabi doesn't even know much about her own backstory. Being born in a traveling caravan of merchants, nomads and some hiding away from looking eyes. Learning many skills on her trips from her fellow caravanners and any odd job she took up. Eventually, as all things do, the caravan ended up settling down in a small village somewhere to the north. But, finding comfort in the nomadic life style, she decided to continue her travels on her own.
This is where is is now, doing what she can for odd jobs, exploring, and simply enjoying the nomadic lifestyle.
