Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
At first, you are hesitant. You wonder how much you should tell her. Finally, you give in.
"I can't remember where I'm from..." you say.
"I just remember that I have been alone for all of my waking life. I know I had a family, but they where long dead before I got the chance to get to know them."
"I can help you remember," the crone says quietly.
"I'm not sure I want to remember."
Fearing that you've said too much, you leave the tent and disappear from civilization once more.
