Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) "Art thou some sort of seer?" Lanat questioned with a faint smile. "Very well, if it is of service to you." Lanat removed his light pack and stabbed his claymore in the ground, resting a hand on the handle. "My home is a place far away, which is now lost to me. I carry the garb of my kingdom, but nothing ere my appearance links me to it." His expression grew more serious. "I remember my early years, where I stayed with my family. My parents were nobles, I believe, but no matter their profession they had the funds to have me leave home at a young age. I have been travelling the world since I was a boy, meeting the locals and telling stories. I have found my peace, and come to this place out of curiosity, and admiration for its beauty. I have endured much on my travels, and enter combat if necessary, but if all is well, I wish to explore this world and its people." Lanat looked up contently, eagerly listening to what this fascinating individual had to offer him.
