Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Valore looked at the old woman with a puzzled expression on his face. Squinting his eyes, he looked at her for a couple of seconds before inspecting the tent, looking for any clue that could tell what sort of sick prank this was. Alas, he sighed in frustration. "I am here looking for an adventure; you see, I am just your typical farmer boy dreaming of his own adventure stories. I have had my fair amount of... problems, but now I am here looking for something new in life." His glance drifted to the tent ceiling. "I grew up with mama and papa, all the way to my 15th farming season without any issues, but a group of knights came travelling near the town, and ever since, I could only think about that. So one good they, fed up with my fever dreams, they decided to send me on my way and the rest is a story for another day."
