Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) "um Okay?" Eliza stutters "Who are you-? I'm just on my way to Reinmar and needed to stop somewhere for the night," Eliza pauses as if contemplating "But if you must know I come from a farming family and came out here to start a new life after what my parents did." Eliza begins to elaborate on her backstory. "I was born an only child and grew up relatively lonely, then when I was 16 I met my first true friend, Harwold, An Orc." Eliza tears up "When I was 18 my parents, believing he had stolen from them, even with no supporting evidence they tracked him down and killed him, Taking the only friend I've ever had. My family was hated after that and ended up dying out, except for me. I'm hoping to get to Reinmar and find a nearby location to start a tavern to try to make amends for my parent's misdeeds".
