Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Jet-black hair, long and unbound, clung to her shoulders like night itself, and her eyes clear and cold as mountain sapphires glinted in the flickering candlelight. She moved with quiet purpose, each step deliberate, as if the ground itself might whisper secrets if trodden lightly. Draped in the traditional garb of her people robes of deep indigo stitched with silver thread in the runes of old—she paused before the crone and inclined her head. “I have wandered far, through storm and shadow, drawn by dreams I do not yet understand,” she said, her voice like wind through stone. “They spoke of this place, and of you. If destiny indeed waits here, then let it speak for I am listening.”
