Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

" I pull a chair from another table and sit across from her. I hunch myself to rest my gloved hands on my knees, my entire body focusing on not tensing up. I let out a sigh before I begin. "The first thing I remember of this world was crawling on the forest floor. I remember being set down in a forest and being left there. It was in that forest I grew up. I never felt alone there, I always had the creatures of the forest to keep me company, I guess I could consider them family. Eventually, I encountered humans and well, you can imagine how they'd react to a scary red orc child creeping around the forests. So I learned to hide from town to town so that people would not hunt me for who I am. Now, as a grown man, if you can even call me that, I wander the towns and villages looking for any job or task anyone has for me so that I may survive. As for my scar? I got it when the first human I encountered tried to kill me. Enough about me, tell me what you've got."
