Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) "Who are you and why should I tell you anything?" Suo'igne asks carefully and stares at the woman with curiosity. Seeing that the other wont answer she opens her mouth and starts talking unsurely. "Well, my name is Suo'igne and I.." She starts out but stops abruptly to carefully think through what to say. Her eyes search for something in the ground in front of her. "I had to leave my home. I was useless. I-" her voice starts to tremble a bit when as she tries to continue. "I.. was not good enough." she finally blurts out. She does not shed tears but starts to shake gently. Her breathing gets faster and she looks up at the other trying to calm herself. Something in her presence makes her body slowly ease up. She breathes in deeply once more and continues now more confidently. "It was my fault. She is gone because of me. I grew up in her shadow, her being the star of our family and I felt like trash. At ten years old my parents finally started to notice me but instead of getting to know me they wanted to train me to be my sisters guardian. Many years I spent actively trying to prove myself to my parents by being the best guardian for her. When I was twenty I was with her by a lake trying to make up for the years we lost as children, trying to get to know each other-" she rambled on until this point. She flinched as if she remembered something painful but shook her head and continued. "Then the orcs attacked. I was so lost in the fun we were having and forgot my job. I ran, she stayed. I never saw her since. My parents did not forgive me and forbid me from ever coming near them ever again." She then stares past the woman for a while and realizes to then ask "Hold on. How did you know to expect me?" now staying silent until gets an answer.
