Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
"Well..." Jason looks around, finds himself blinded by the candlelight, and then fixes his eyes on her. "I'm Jason...", he shows some fear as he speaks. "I came to take what's mine, my grandfather's necklace." The hag knew exactly what he was talking about, the wizard Miller's amulet with the maximum power on Earth. "Shhh, they might hear us." At that exact moment Jason starts to feel a little nauseous. "Everything will be fine, let the roots consume you," she said. Jason faints and wakes up in the hag's castle. After all, she wasn't the poor creature he thought she was, she was the wizard Miller's wife.
