Issue III 16th of Harren’s Folley, 2037 Est. 2033 BONJOUR readers. It has been a turbulent couple years that has left my life in disarray. But it is no one's fault but my own. After the first issue, I saw the damage and pain it had caused those I cared about. Thus, I vowed to stop. Yet, in a fit of rage, I broke that vow and wrote issue two. I have done my best to come clean to everyone regarding what I have done. I hope that much can be recognized. Instead of writing gossip and tearing my friends down behind their backs, I thought, it’d be best to end this series of missives on a positive note. A note of warning to those of the future to not make the same mistakes that I have. Allow this to be your way to remember these children, not anything I have written prior. I love you all. Thank you. Prince Conrad @kuebiko You were my first ever friend. Someone I bonded with over drawing and staying in the back of crowds. Conrad is so kind and strong. Someone where, if you need comfort, he will be by your side through thick and thin. He can be immature at times, yes, but that only adds to his charm. I might not be around anymore, but you are always welcome to write to me. Princess Heilwig @confusedjester Over the course of our friendship I started to view you as a little sister. I loved braiding your hair and talking until the early hours of morning. Heilwig is monotone and rather blank on the surface. But she has a heart as big as her city. She is always worrying about others, even if she never voices it. She may not always have the right words to say, but if you just need someone to have company with, she is the best person to rely on. Selyne @Parasolii You’ve been gone for a while, but even now you have my back. You have always seen my deepest hues, and you accepted it. Selyne is fierce. Someone where if someone is picking on you and she sees an injustice, she will defend you to the best of her ability. Sharp words, witty, and loyal until the end. Heinrik @CasChaos You are always so bubbly. You stay out of interpersonal conflict and just try to make everyone feel better. Heinrik’s intentions are always that of a pure heart. He wears it on his sleeve for the world to see. He is so incredibly brave for that. Heinrik fights every inconvenience by always trying to find the positive side of it. He is always someone you can rely on to cheer you up. Renan @christman One of my first friends, you taught me how to dance and always listened to me rant about nonsense. Renan isn’t afraid of some good banter, I do hope someone will keep his wit occupied else he may drive himself insane. I will miss our banter dearly, and I won’t forget you either. Gedeon @blesseuropa I know things have been rough recently, but I will always remember you as someone trustworthy. Gedeon was my closest friend for many years. He is strong. Much stronger than I. He will make an incredible knight one day. Fearless until the end, he will sacrifice anything for his home. For his Empire. I wish you the best of luck in achieving your goals, whether I am there to witness them or not. Esther @bumblefina Our friendship started off slow, but over time I felt I could trust you more and more. Esther can be funny, she can pick on you in good humor and leave you feeling supported the rest of the day. A rock. She is sturdy, reliable, and trusting. Don’t let anyone take advantage of that, Es’. Vanya @Nen You are an arse. Yet, I still call you a friend. You pick on everyone around you, yet it is always clear who you view as a friend and who you do not. Vanya, much to the dismay of others, is his most genuine self at all times. He does not sugarcoat his personality and it can be a breath of fresh air. Someone give him spiked tea for me, it is the only way he’ll enjoy tea time. Adelhardt @Pepto Whenever I needed someone with a wider perspective on things, I always go to you. You are always so mature, someone I saw open up over a single tea time. I will miss spending that time with you, please write to me if you can. Adelhardt is someone that will protect everyone regardless of status. To him, rank is meaningless. Every life is still a life and he will do his best to defend that in any way he can. That is true chivalry. Joan @confusedjester When I wrote the first issue and I saw how much it hurt you, I was overwhelmed with guilt. Following that, I ended up finding myself rather fond of you. Much like a little sister. Joan is rambunctious, a little gremlin at heart. But she can be so kind and defend those she cares about. It is admirable. Lucienne @Apotolofo We never got to interact much, and I do apologize for what has been written about you. You started off just as any noble girl would, yet, with your friendship with Joan blossoming tenfold, you truly opened up and became much more relaxed. Lucienne doesn’t let her noble lineage and responsibilities hold her back from having fun. She will make a fine noblewoman one day. Magdalena @Phersades Gedeon spoke so highly of you that I found myself looking forward to making your acquaintance. And lo and behold, you exceeded any expectations I had. Maggie is so unbelievably kind and generous. If you need someone to rely on, she will always be there to support you. She is fun to talk about boys with and will tell you the honest truth regarding situations. She is wise for her age, and I cannot see that changing as she grows into adulthood. Lucrezia @tadabug2000 You always came across as so perfect, the epitome of a Lady. I already know you poured your heart and soul into your studies. Yet, under the surface, you always held this gremlin-esk energy. It poked out every now and then, and each time it did I was always left amused. Lucrezia is probably the best person to share a secret with. She won’t ever speak it to another's ears. Never change. Madame Halcourt @Kabaffahp You gave me the chance I needed to pursue my craft. I will forever feel in debt for what you have sacrificed for me. Please know, it will not go wasted. All of the skills you have taught me I will carry no matter where I go. If you are looking for someone to ward under, Madame Halcourt will do everything she can to ensure you learn the most. Thank you for everything. Jorna @confusedjester You always felt like an older sister to me. Whenever you showed up I’d get a head pat and it’d always cheer me up. You give me good advice in regards to GOD and I will never forget the impact you had on me growing up. Jorna may be eccentric, but she has a heart of gold. She did everything in her power to save me from a bee sting and I will never forget that. Aviel @Digit___ I must apologize for not attending your nameday. I will be out of town, but I do wish you a happy day. You brought me along in prayer which did bring me a bit of comfort. Aviel is kind, yet loyal and will always defend you to his last breath. He carries GOD wherever he goes and can always bestow upon you some canonist wisdom. I will remember everyone listed above by the traits described. All of you, I will remember in a positive light. Thank you for being my friend until this point, I won’t forget you for many decades to come. You have all made these last few years some of the best I will have in my entire life. I recognize I have flaws I do not personally enjoy. Due to this, I will be living at a nunnery for self reflection and improvement for the next few years. Hopefully, the next time you see me, you can hate me a little less. Until next time, - D

Issue II 11th of Sigismund’s End, 2035 Est. 2033 BONJOUR dear readers, it has been a minute. This author has spent the last couple years pondering a situation and watching it develop as time passed. The silence has been loud, I do apologize. However, I am here to bring you an ongoing situation that has left me rather amused. The Miss Delilah and Lord Vanya appear to be in a bit of a feud. The reasoning for such has truly hit a peak within the last year, and between Lord Vanya’s lack of chivalry to the Miss Delilah’s gossiping, this author doesn’t know which side to be on. Some time ago, it came to this author’s attention that the Lord Vanya had a certain lady friend, as the teens put it, that he would occasionally run off to go visit. Though, the boy has kept the identity of such a lady a secret. If you were expecting to find the lady’s name within this issue, then you may find your own self disappointed. The Lord Vanya has also been known to be a rather hot headed squire, taking charge of situations he may very well have no right interfering with. While others still find his company worthwhile, the Miss Delilah has been seen giving him a scornful gaze. This caught this writer’s attention, and thus we dig deeper into just why the girl feels such a way. According to the Miss Delilah’s own words, Vanya had greeted her in the square alongside the Mister Gedeon and Miss Esther. The boy asked how she was doing, to which she replied the usual positive response alongside returning the question. This is when he spoke to her in her native language, Auvergnian. While this author does not know the exact words spoken, she has given others a rough translation. “But you have disturbed the peace in my heart, miss.” This took the girl thoroughly offguard, as he had not shown any interest in her beforehand. She questioned it, only for the boy to send a wink in her direction. This was quickly chastised by the Mister Gedeon, giving the Lord Vanya a smack upside the head. The miss Delilah later had tea with the boy within the Alba Tavern. She questioned him regarding the secret lady friend, showing expressed curiosity on who exactly she was. He denied such claims until she stated that both the Mister Gedeon and Miss Esther confirmed the rumors themselves. Then, did the boy finally confess that she was indeed real. Following this, the Miss Delilah questioned his prior scene within the square, only for the boy to dance around the topic as one would a ballroom. Eventually, however, did he finally confess that he was only ever messing with her. A mere joke, though one no one has deemed humorous. She called him out on his so called ‘Cruelty’, as she puts it, only for him to toy with her again. He stated that perhaps he meant it after all, winking once again, and leaving the tavern entirely. This sent the poor girl into a rage, spouting countless hateful comments about the boy. This later devolved into real gossip, which is what caught this author’s attention to begin with. Now, we must question the facts of it all. From what this writer has gathered, the Lord Vanya is only but a player who toys with multiple girl’s hearts at the same time. Though, that is to say the rumors the girl spews are indeed, factual. This does beg the question, however. Did the Miss Delilah truly begin to fall for the Lord Vanya? Did she believe his advances to be chivalrous and genuine? If so, then we may consider her a fool. I do hope you find this ongoing drama to be as entertaining as I do. Will the two make up, following this issue? Or will their feud only grow more tense as time passes? It is up to you, my dear readers, to make your own judgements based off the alleged information within this missive. Until Next time. Signed, Madame Mirage

Issue I 15th of Sigismund’s End, 2033 Est. 2033 TODAY many scandals and information hidden behind locked doors had finally come to light within the Alba square. Something this writer, nor anyone else, had anticipated walking into the city on that fine day. Yet, a Miss Joan has been accused of harboring fleas within her person and eating rats of all things. From pitiful wardships to slum children all the way to senseless squabbles, do these girls hold no shame? The day started out as normal with a group of children casually conversing within the Alba square. Though, it took an interesting turn that piqued this writer's attention. Lady Lucienne had suddenly begun participating in gossip, instigating it all by herself. The children dropped to whispers, though whispers are nothing to this writer’s ears. Lady Lucienne had begun gossiping about one of her dear Mother’s own wards. The Miss Joan in question. She detailed how the girl had fleas jumping off her, the Lady Lucrezia confirming the accusation through her own interactions with Miss Joan. The girls detailed how ungrateful she was, opting to eat rats instead of the fine soup offered to her. The boys were much kinder, proposing the idea that it was rather difficult for the peasant girl to settle into her new life of luxury. That is until the Miss Joan showed up herself! When she found out Lady Lucienne had been gossiping about her, the girl was enraged, rightfully so. She referred to Lady Lucienne as an “uptight brat” when the Lady offered the girl one of her very own dresses. Once more, displaying how ungrateful she was to the offers given to her. Lady Lucienne voices how hurt she is on how careless and ungrateful Miss Joan appears, to which she tells the Lady that her heart can “shove it.” Everything up to this point was mere words holding no weight. Yet, something unexpected transpired that left the whole group of children shocked to their very core. For, the Miss Joan had projectile sneezed directly on Lady Lucienne’s cheek! Miss Delilah veered her head in disgust, gagging, while others shielded their mouths to prevent themselves from doing the same. This writer finds such behavior absolutely repulsive, as would most. The Lady took this act of disgust with the utmost grace, wiping it from her cheek and advising the girl that if she wishes to not be seen in such a light that she ought to put in more effort to not appear in such a way. The girl retorts with it not being the Lady’s place to speak on such matters, yet this writer believes anyone within the city is open to criticism. The girl then publicly insults the Princess Constance, whom she is warding under. Truly, did this leave our writer speechless. Following this insult, did more information come to light. Miss Joan has accused the Princess of taking her in as a ward out of pity. A mere charity case to make herself feel better. This is quite the accusation, but one must consider its validity. A new leaf, is swiftly turned over as the group begun to feel sympathetic to poor Miss Joan’s circumstances. She was thrust into an unfamiliar world, expected to fit right in and hold to the standards of the high status life. This gave Lady Lucienne a new perspective of the girl, offering to help her one step at a time to allow her to adjust to her new life. Children can be kind amidst all the drama and gossip, it warms this writer's heart to see such kindness within the new generation. Now begs the question of who is truly in the right? From the charity case of Miss Joan, the gossiping of fleas from Lady Lucienne, and the seemingly selfish motivations of Princess Constance. This writer is in no position to cast judgement upon these ladies, that is for you, the reader, to ultimately decide. With that, what do you think of this situation? I will be listening. Signed, Madame Mirage
