Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
"Yes well I-" Atakan pauses for a moment realizing the old womans last remark. "What do you mean by expecting me.. exactly?" (If no reply she would go into their backstory) "Yes well uhmm.. I am Hyspian. I come from a long line of hyspian knights and protectors of the nobility. Usually we would be devoted to the Kingdom and of course House de Pelear, however as of right now I am uncontracted and traveling. I was brought up in the same mentallity of my Ancestors, to be noble and righteous. However as time went on our neighbors became less and less Righteous and more greedy. My hometown became riddled with bandits, it became increasingly difficult to live there and so i decided to leave. I tried to convince my family that there were better places to live the rest of our days, and to get on the boat with me. However my headstrong family and father said that leaving their home would be like giving up, and that it was too shameful for a family that prides itself in protection. I was split between my own wants and fear and my familie's view of me, and i feel guilty to this day about my decision. I ended up leaving, disgraceful or not i would rather live somewhere safe and opportune abundant that somewhere so pridefully blinded. Im strong and sword taught, however the life of a knight was never something I really wanted. I want to help people, protect people if need be, and on top of everything find connections. Then I came accross Aevos Hoping it would be a better fit for me." Atakan stopped realizing she had been rambling.
