Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) "Oh, hey there! Fancy place you got—smells like home!" He shifts eagerly, eyes darting between the floating candles and the hag’s face. "I was just passin’ through, y’know? Lookin’ for somethin’ warm, preferably still twitchin’. You got meats around here? I’m starvin’." He tilts his head, ears twitching, waiting for a reply with unblinking patience. Backstory: Born deep within the forest glades of southern Aevos, Nuubthrak of Clan Kipp grew up among a reclusive goblin tribe that lived by trapping, scavenging, and storytelling under the stars. His quiet life ended when a patrol of Númendil soldiers razed their encampment—whether out of fear, policy, or misunderstanding, he never learned. Barely escaping, Nuubthrak fled into the wilds, the smoke of his home still fresh in his lungs. To remember his kin, he cast off his first name and began calling himself simply Kipp, carrying his family name like a torch in the dark. Lost and starving, he was eventually taken in by a small wolf pack, surviving among them through sheer instinct and grit. Now grown, Kipp walks on two legs again—sharp-eyed, low to the ground, and wary of cities and the people that fill them.
