Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) The elven girl lazily sits on the cushion, unbothered by the tent's rundown state. She looks as if she could fall asleep any second, yet she begins to speak, "Most of my young life I've traveled with my parents." Hoshi looks as if to drift into slumber as she continues on, "Actually, just about 30 years ago did we decide to part ways. We came across a plethora of places, so I decided it was time to settle for a while and but a year later the Hathaway family would take me in for a short while of 7 years... Whereas my parents would try teaching me in voidal magic, though they weren't good teachers;" She pauses for a moment almost falling forward, but soon she begins again, "the Hathaways would have me dabble in alchemy, but it's not like I learned anything from them either. And so throughout my following journey I would learn off of different people's skills to eventually become proficient with many tools... at least technically as for almost all the skills I'm missing the muscles needed." An arm is raised weakly to give an example. "Though at least I'm quite good with the needle. It might not look like it but I actually made this entire outfit myself, I'm especially proud of the work I did with this expensive fabric I got from my parents as a parting gift!" She points out those parts of her clothes; those being on the underside of her hat and skirt, and taking the clock on her belt she speaks, "I've even managed to replace my clocks face with some leftovers but because those were so thin it only shows at night..." The elf now seems to have found perfect balance in her sitting so as to not require any muscles to still sit upright. She slowly hums about, "I wonder what happened to my parents, though I'm sure I wouldn't find them anyways, given they never stay put for longer than a few months. I suppose I might visit the Hathaways again once more... and find an actual teacher... to learn some... magic for real." And with that she finally falls asleep, sitting still on her cushion.
