Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Aerendil of Mitrandil House stood in the doorway of the humble hut, the scent of herbs and smoke curling around him. With a fluid motion, he removed his cloak and settled onto a worn wooden bench.
"Well, since you've clearly been expecting me, you already know— I am Aerendil of Mitrandil House," he said, his voice calm and measured. "An elf of old blood, they say—though I make no claim beyond what stories people like to tell."
Once proud in a different life, Aerendil had chosen his own path, and now he found himself seated across from a hag in a place far from the halls of his youth.
"I am a traveler now," he continued, "seeking greatness. Hoping to build a nation of my own—or perhaps to make an existing one truly great."
He paused, then added with a flicker of pride, "I was born in the Silver State of Haelun’or, a Maehr’sae elf from Lareh’thilln."
His posture stiffened slightly as he spoke of his past. "I was a sickly child. Unfortunately for my parents, I was the only boy in the family. But I grew quickly, and with that growth came curiosity. I took a liking to history, geography, politics, and philosophy."
He smiled faintly, recalling those formative years. "Soon, I was sent to the Eternal College, where I studied politics and history."
He fell silent for a moment, as if weighing his next words.
"And now," he said finally, "I wander the world... searching, I suppose, for greatness. And power."
