Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"Very well I shall tell you my story." I set down my sword and take a seat on the ground "I am called Dearie, and I come from a far away kingdom, a land full of peace and happiness." I look down, remembering the chaos that happened. "However, fate had a different path in mind." Tears run down my eyes. "My Kingdom now lies in ruins-nothing but memory." my tears fall into the patches of dirt but, I continue to speak. "I should have perished with the rest of my kingdom-sometimes I think I did, and this body is just wandering without purpose" I wipe my tears off my face. "I swore to myself that they would not perish in vain, so I wandered through many forests and mountains, and I was lead here...to start...a new journey."
