Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Example:
"Well hello, I ran into you sooner than expected," I reply heartily. I shift my weight from my heels to my toes and decide to sit across from the hag, as instructed. "Been walking these lands for some time, waiting to speak with you. I have procured thistleroot and ox tongue along my journey. I am hoping you may help me brew an elixir of strength." I remove the thistleroot and ox tongue from the satchel strung across my chest, sliding them across the battered oak table between us. I clear my throat, "As for my story, I was raised in the Eastern mountains, where I spent my youth mining for precious minerals. My people value this work ethic but my body is quickly growing tired. I yearn for an adventure. Something that I can share with the youth inside our mountain, to inspire them."
