Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
Example: you haven't had human interaction in so long, you sort of...forget, what to do. quickly you gather yourself again and sit down. the cushion on the floor doesn't offer much to sit on. your knee's are almost up to your face. but you dont dare speak up about it. you're...scared.
sensing the tension the old hag ushers you to talk "chop chop, i dont got all day boy" so you begin.
"well..ma'am. my old land they. ehm. they saw me as a outcast. i was always in my hut. working on my equipment and my magic. which they only saw as trinkets. they didn't understand me. they didn't understand my vision! they had no clue the power of which i had in that hut. still they told me to go, to go and never come back. so i did. and i hope that your kingdom will have me. and trust in my process and what i have to offer"
