Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Gray Godfrey III grabs at his now ribbed royal garbs, unsure of the world he has found himself in. Looking around, he hasn't been in the ..lower class towns since he was just a boy. Unbeknownst to him, Gray Godfrey III was 'isekai'd' into this world, and he's going to find out very soon that it no longer matters the family you're born into, but the choices you make in this new world.
So of course, his first choice will be a wrong one.
"What kind of half-wit geezer do you attempt to parade as expecting your king? I expect you to find me the nearest inn, guards, and bathrobes to adorn me in. Chop Chop!"
