Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
"You sure? I think I'd drecall such a face" defensive he looks blankly. Something sways him to change his mind. "Well, a bit ago the only family I'd ever had was lost in a great storm. Our home was destroyed but I can always make a new one, Im handy" He looks down "But my druid friend and Elf companions would never see. But Im here to start a new, someplace where I can find a home again. Although hopefully somewhere dry, I can't stand to even touch water again after what happened." He looks into the ladies eyes with curiosity. "Tell my your story, I love a new face"
