Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Sylke focuses her eyes to a familiar sight. She was used to the run-down look of abandoned buildings that rotted from the inside out, and was all too well acquainted with the smell of mold and rat droppings. Her time scavenging through the woods and barren lands was nothing compared to what was in store for her here, "Who are you", she spoke up, "and where am I?". Reluctant to open up to the old hag, Sylke begins to read the room, well, the tent, and after a moment passes she realizes,
"I was brought here for a reason, a reason unbeknownst to me now, but I believe I have a greater purpose. And the signs have led me here".
Sylke approaches the old hag and sits. She pauses for a moment, and begins to rummage through a pack that is strung to her waistline. She pulls out a map and points to a part of it that is marked with a big red 'X', "How do I get here?" She pushes,
"I am on the search for magic".
