Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
she tenses " um i'm not really sure myself "
“ all i really remember is my father teaching me history in his study when he flung the book onto the desk “ The girl shakes looking at the candles flame,
“ I don’t remember much after my father and I tried to flee, All I remember if feeling the heat “
the girl moves away from the candles flame as she continues. “ I remember my father’s old staff burning up in the flames and him carrying me as fast as he could while trying think of a plan “ The girl sat down, her trembling legs nearly causing her to miss the chair
” the last thing I remember I waking up alone in a forest nestled under a tree “ The girl fiddled with her hair as her eyes darted back and forth around the room.
