Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"Huh, its me?" I sit, confused but curious, "I think you have me confused, my name is Aerik Oakhill, this is my first time wandering through this town." The hag stares at me, says nothing and waits for me to answer. "I'm just adventuring, looking for a place to begin my new life." "I was an orphan, never knew my parents or what happened to them." "I was never adopted into any family, but i was lucky enough to meet a man who became a father figure and a mentor. He taught me how to survive without relying on others and taught me blacksmithing" "shortly after my 18th birthday, he fell sick to a mysterious illness and didn't survive very long." "With nothing and no one left i decided it was best for me to see what life has to offer, so i left and now i am here."
