Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

I take and seat where the old hag gestured and wonder why she's been expecting me of all people. She looks at me expectedly and realize i should probably answer her question. "I am a black smith who owns a small shop far away from here", I say. I pause for a second wondering if i should tell this strange woman my backstory but i decide that there's no point in lying so i continue my story. "When i was 12 my parents were killed in a raid and i was raised by the local bar owner because he was a close friend of my parents". When I turned 16 I began taking blacksmithing lessons from a blacksmith by the time i was 20 i had mastered everything that he could teach me so i journeyed to (input big city name here) to become a true master". "After 4 years of learning, training and crafting I went into the mountains to set up a blacksmithing shop away from the drama of the wars and conflicts of nations.
