Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Hrodebert: "I think you got me confused for someone else.." *Hrodebert gives a half weary smile before continuing,* "I'm simply a nomad in need of aid... *stomach growl*...and maybe some food."
*He Gestures to the inside of the tent, taking small steps forward* "I could really use some help...a group of raiders stole everything i had so i don't exactly got anything to pay you with..."
*The Old Hag nods, guiding her hand towards the pot brewing by the fire* "You should know better than to travel these lands alone..." *Says the hag, as Hrodebert rushes to fill his bowl,* "Tell me...what is your name?"
*Hrodebert pauses mid scoop, carefully choosing his words before speaking.* "My name is Hrodebert Krugerkinn... i am an anthropologist but as you can see...im kind of down on my luck." *Hrodebert sighs, turning to face the hag* "You wouldn't happen to know where the nearest town is?"
*The hag snorts, leaving Hrodebert puzzled* "The next town is miles away, you wont make it there till sunrise" *Says the hag, not putting any effort to hide her mockery*
*Hrodebert sighs, he finishes up his meal and heads out towards the tent entrance* "Well then i guess i gotta get going before those raiders come back for more than just my money...farewell."
*As he takes his leave, the Old Hag mutters under her breath,* "Goodluck...you'll need it."
