Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head. “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
He eyed the old hag with a wary look; he was defensive in his stance, refusing to sit but speaking nonetheless: "I am a born and raised Heartlander; my family were not wealthy, but still we did struggle as most folks like us do. So here i am journeying the world to make something of myself...find a reason to be more than what i am i guess."
As he grew more comfortable speaking to the old hag, he would finally sit with her. "I seek the pleasures of the world that are available for me, so let the creator favor me in this journey... He would stand, bowing his head lightly, "Thank you for letting me speak, but i must go on my way now." He drops a bag of currency for the hag before moving on to venture forth.
