Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) Aeris sat comfortably on the cushion, brushing off the delicate kimono he was wearing, made out of the finest, and softest fabric you could find possibly, at least what he thinks. He cleared his throat and spoke up. "My story you say, ma'am? Very well then.. I always do enjoy a bit talking about myself.." Aeris said with a smug grin on his face, being replaced by one of genuine kindness. "Well, I seek a new beginning. My story in my last living place has ended, and I want to find a place to call.. 'home'" Aeris stated, his tone deafening afterwards.. His hands clasped together in his lap as he debated on what to say next. "Let's say I didn't have a good popularity within the town for odd reasons, much not I know myself actually.. Disappointing I had to leave, but all stories come to an end." He smiled softly. He shifted on the cushion, sitting on his ankles and pulling his kimono so it doesn't wrinkle. "Well.. That's not all I say, but if you wish to know more, feel free to try and pry it from me, but warning ya, no one dared to get close to me. I dared not to let someone get close.. Trust is vile, make sure you keep bonds uncut, otherwise it leads to consequences." He nodded to his own words.. That same, soft smile still lingered on his face. "I suppose we are done here, hmm? Very well, I'm taking my leave. Good day ma'am." He said, getting up and dusting himself off before leaving the tent.
