Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"Well... It's quite a story...." he would say with a deep voice, exhausted from before. "I was a lowborn, a farmer, like my father and his father before him.... I would always help around the farm and my father while my siblings took care of the house with my mother. Years passed, at 16 my village was pillaged and watched my family die..." He paused for a couple of seconds, taking a deep breath before continuing. "I decided I wanted justice for what happened to them and quickly joined a band of thieves to survive and learn... I've stayed with them for a while bonding with everyone, they were like a family to me, but after sometime I decided to become a mercenary cause of the gold... I've been in a lot of battles fighting with the side that pays more gold. But now... All I think is about wanting to continue fighting till I fall in a battlefield and the gold/glory that comes..."
