Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?)) "Oh hello friend! I'm from the plains far, far away." *slight pause* "My head really hurts I have no idea where I'm at right now. Last thing I remember was being with my family on that boat." "Speaking of which, where is my family?". The old hag looks confused. The old hag says, "Um sir, you stumbled upon this place yourself. Nobody was with you just that flask and your satchel."
"Oh you found my flask! Is there anything in it?" Rupert shouted.
The old hag opens the flask and dumps it upside down. One little drop falls onto the floor. Ruperts face goes pale.
"You never answered my question you old hag where am I?" Rupert said anxiously.
The old hag got frustrated. "I asked you your story first, speak to me now Rupert."
Rupert gets a weird feeling in his body. He turns looking around the room for an escape and figure out where he is. He spots a map on the back table. He grabs it and runs.
"I'm very sorry old lady; I need to find my family and our boat."
