Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"My story you ask? I am just an elf from the woods hoping to explore the world like my parents once did, their curiosity of this vast world always intrigued me. When I was younger I didn't understand why they would always go on such dangerous and long adventures. But now.." I pause, thinking fondly of my parents. "Now I wish to run into them when I start adventuring, and share our stories and experiences together." I chuckle lightly, making eye contact with the old woman. "Preferably over a campfire with some nostalgic oxtail stew!"
