Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) Without saying a word, but just a respectful and weirded nod, he sat down on the cushion, feeling its comfort after days of sitting on the hard ground and logs. "Well, old lady." He paused, not knowing where to start, not even knowing who this old hag is. "I come from a settlement near a mountain, y'know? Well, It wasn't freezing or anything just a nice small settlement, my Father you see, he was a fisherman, my mother? A baker, and I was... Er... I was just there, trying to learn stuff, long-story short, after I grew old enough, I began travelling to nearby villages and such, I loved talking to people and exchange stuff. One day I decided to seek out new lands for my own home, new kingdoms and eventually become a neutral merchant If there would be time for wars." He paused and looked at the candles, then at the old hag, waiting for a question or a word from her... But nothing, just listening. "I got robbed not so long ago, everything I had, food, water, even a map of the lands, stolen. Now I just wander around... And just suddenly came upon this... Beautiful village." He said with a mix of friendliness and sarcasm. He brushes the soft cushion a bit, and just waited for her response.
