Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((She looks around, warily, scouting to see if they are truly alone. "Did my message reach you?" she says, trying to keep her voice down as this lingering feeling of being watched washes over her yet again. "'It has been a while since I last saw you. " she whispers under her breath as she takes a seat infront of the old hag.
"I used to come here a lot when I was younger, seeking guidance after she passed in that raid." she takes a deep breath to muster up the courage to continue speaking; "I miss her. She was the only one who would take me in, an orphaned child seeking shelter. She taught me how to protect myself...". She looks down to her side, to her bow; the last memory she has of her guardian.
"You knew her aswell didn't you? So why aren't you angry? Aren't you filled with.... rage?" her words fall flat as the old hag keeps her silence. A sence of frustation flows over her; "Why won't you answer me?! Why won't anybody give me answers?! I need to know who did it! Do you not want revenge?!" she yells, her voice raised and a single tear flowing from her eyes.))
