Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) "Ah" I tense up slightly startled by the sudden confrontation. I regain my composure captiously walking over and taking a seat. With a smile as sweet as honey I respond "If you will have me of course!" I feel the wood creak beneath my weight rattling the table slightly as I braced against it "Well--well--um... where do i start?" I let out an awkward laugh rubbing the back of my neck slightly. "You see...I didn't really get along with the other wood elves to well. Oh! But i Really---Really~ like cats-and mushrooms. Do you like mushrooms?!" I Respond with a mix of emotions jumping from downcast to jolly fairly quickly. My eyes meet the hags and notice she's slightly discontent. "S-Sorry, where was I--yes.. I don't get along much with the others.. you see I was slower at my studies, magic, everything my race prides themself in---and I'm well I'm a failure. It's not all bad though! I have two adorable~ fur-friends---and a very large collection of mushrooms!" I pause watching the Hags features as they twist into a slight smile My face lights up with a smile that meets my eyes as i tenderly trace my hand over the cup rim "I want to live peacefully miss--and meet many people REAL people who cherish me for who I am unlike my clan..." I say a hint of melancholy follows my words, quickly cast away by a warm smile "Do you like bubbles?.. I think bubbles are very majestic.." I cut in deflecting from my hesitation and sorrow.
