Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
"H-Hello?" You say uncertain not knowing why she could of been expecting you but still smiling softly trying to look friendly. You obediently sit down on a cushion, your body a little tense from nervousness. "I'd say my story is pretty ordinary, so not much to tell you about" you start off looking around the tent wondering if the open flames of the candles with tattered fabric of the tent doesn't make too much of the fire hazard "As for your first question I just came here with a friend for some supplice, but i lost them in the crowd" You look down a little embarassed.
