Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"Oh, I just, uh…" you stutter, tensing up. You eye the crone, then back outside the tent. For a moment, the air thickens with anticipation, until… You spot the dark figure you were running from, who seems to be searching high and low for you. You decide its best to go back into the tent and tell of the horrors that lead up to this moment. "I've been running from a powerful man... one who would rather see all elves dead than form an alliance... and that said man is waiting for us outside. Please if you have any way for me to escape, I would be forever in your debt." "In debt you shall be." The old lady cackled and the ground beneath where you sit opens, revealing a trapdoor and a means of escape. Falling into the pitch, dark blackness, you see faint lights on the tunnel leading you to safety.
