Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
Bolin was born within a dwarven fortress carved from stone, amidst fire, iron, and the relentless echo of hammer strikes. Raised in the stern yet proud traditions of the mountain dwarves, he learned from a young age the ways of the mines and the forge, where both his body and spirit were tempered like steel. As the years passed, he left the high halls of his homeland, driven by a desire to see the world and forge his own legend. His travels brought him to the city of Vansk, where fate led him to Siurdon. Drawn together by shared values and an unquenchable thirst for adventure, they chose to walk the road together. And so began a new chapter in Bolin’s saga—a journey that would carry him far beyond the mountains of his birth, to the very place he stands today.
