Kou Oku

Kou Oku is a proud member of the Oku family. A family known for two things. their unqiue genes including the FOXC2 gene and an incredibly low melanin amount in their hair. which caused their unqiue coloration for both eyes and hair. and their heroism. as this family although not very large was ones renouned as heroes across the world. The Oku's life purpose was to be protectors of all life. It was a simple yet incredibly challenging task but one that Kou's greatest grandfather took on. Kou was only an infant when tragedy struck. In a massive war against a very diverse bandit group containing orcs and goblins and even other humans. the entire family was reduced to dust. corpses of the Okus filled the warzone. and even though they died they took down the bandit group with them. saving that sector of the world from their tyranny. but now Kou was alone in continuing the never ending task set by his family. Kou traveled many lands at a young age. stopping robberies in the kingdom of Man. and earning a title as the little hero when he was only 15. He learned to use the bow at that age and as he grew he also learned to use the Axe, combining them in his own unqiue strategy to make the most of his lean but small frame. Upon aging up to around 18 years he partook in his first war. a war that was between two groups. a small village and a goblin clan hellbent on taking them as slaves. in the end he shone with his skills. defeating the goblins and saving the village. He'd achieve many more victories like this until the age of 22. being now well-known for his caring and kindness especially towards the smaller provinces and villages he now aimed for more glory. He had to make the name of his family known. but he knew his mortality would be an obstacle. so his goal now is simple. gain more power. become stronger for the sake of the people. and now with his flowing white cloak and his axe and bow in hand he treads through the lands of this world. to find his power. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Kou has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” Kou smiles warmly at the woman and takes a seat softly. "Well if you expected me. Then you would know who i am. But very well. i will be a good guest~" He said playfully "You know of the Oku's? My dear family. Everyone i lost. I am one of them. The only one actually.." He paused soberly "This may take a while so. why don't i buy you a drink?" Kou offered kindly before recounting his story to her. His axe and bow slinged on his back. Crossed in an X shape as he spoke of his adventures and how he got here (Refer to the above lore)
