You sit down a little awkwardly on the cushion, smoothing your cloak and offering a small, shy smile.
“Um… hi,” you say softly. “I’m a wood elf. I think I took a wrong turn in the forest.”
You glance around at the floating candles, eyes wide but curious.
“This place smells… very wet. But kind of cozy too?” You look back at her.
“I was just traveling and ended up here. I promise I’m not here to cause trouble.”
You tuck a loose strand of hair behind your ear.
“So… what exactly were you expecting me for?”
